Farewell Molly


This is just a short message to tell you of the passing of Molly Neux. It was a sudden end at about 9.45 on Tuesday 15^th August. She was quickly examined and was soon under the screwdriver to check for any broken wires or loose connections but even an emergency fuse transplant couldn’t save her.

Molly had moved into Gloucester Road with me in September 1983, she had been easily turned on and was very accommodating, she was always quite happy being of use in many people’s hands.

A few friends were there to see her lowered into my dustbin.

I know this may seem heartless but life must go on. Molly has been replaced by something more powerful, called Remington,
a sleek, black number.
